Prof. Hussain Ghritish Al-Kalabi and Assistant Professor Sahar Mohammed Jawad participated in the Department of Soil and Water Sciences at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kufa, in the Conference on Desertification and Geographical Information Systems held at the University of Kashan, Islamic Republic of Iran, in order to develop the capacity of scientific staff specialized in desertification. The dangerous environmental phenomenon and the concerted efforts of researchers in providing scientific research and pioneering ideas in order to reach practical and constructive treatments in many of the problems of society, in the service of the public interest.
