The College of Agriculture, Department of Food Science, held a seminar on ” Developing Milk Production from Cows for Small Producers in Iraq “, in which Assistant Teacher Sharaf Ali Al-Sheikh delivered a lecture highlighting the milk and its products from the main food sources in Iraq and the Arab world Because it contains the basic components that the body needs to build it, such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. The lecturer compared the farms between the rural productivity in Iraq and the productive farms in rural developed countries and noted the existence of many differences in terms of interest in nutrition and raising cows and attention to the process of milk production from the beginning to the end of milking to storage and then selling.
This seminar is part of the administrative activities carried out by the Faculty of Agriculture in order to develop the expertise and skills of the employees and to enhance their abilities in the workplace.
