Dr. Hayder Khattab Alrubye and Dr. Sulaiman Abdulhusein Mashkoor, faculty members at the University of Kufa, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape, received an acceptance letter to publish their research paper entitled (The effect of pollen origins on productivity and quality of date fruits Phoenix dactylifera L. in the Khestawi and Hillawi cultivars) in the international journal of Agricultural and Statistical Sciences (Scopus Q3). This research was completed in cooperation with teamwork from Al-Najaf Agriculture Directorate Riyadh Abdulameer Al-Ibraheemi and Ruaa M. Alaunaibi. The researchers showed the superiority of seed cultivars (University of Kufa 1,3) over Al-Ghanami cultivar (control) and Al-Khestawi cultivar with regard to fruiting characteristics.
