Diagnosis of the complete sequence of three new viruses

In a study carried out by the Laboratory of Virology and Molecular Biology in the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Kufa, for doctoral student (Haura Ismail Abbas), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fadl Abdul-Hussein Khalil, and in cooperation with Dr. Osama Nadhum Kadhum, the complete sequences of three new viruses that infect the cucumber plant, namely the yellow-veined virus, were recorded and diagnosed. Squash vein yellowing virus has been registered in the GenBank under entry number ON229619, as well as tomato leaf curl virus. Tomato leaf curl Palampur virus (ToLCPalV) has been recorded with two complete types of DNA-A and DNA-B under entry numbers ON229620 + ON229618. Diagnosis and registration of two endogenous viruses in the cucumber genome at the Institute of Genetic Research and Information in California for the registration of transposable genetic factors and repetitive sequences in nucleic acids. It is reported that new types of viruses began to appear in the Iraqi fields as a result of the unregulated import of agricultural crops and in a clear absence of the role of agricultural quarantine, with no use of modern techniques in detection and diagnosis of pathogens.
