Under the sponsorship of the President of the University of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Yasser Lafta Hassoun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Alaa Edan Hasan, the University of Kufa – Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil and Water Sciences organized a scientific symposium entitled (Enhancing agricultural productivity through the climate change in dryland regions) on Tuesday, 31 / 5 / 2022 presented by Prof. Dr. Alaa Saleh Ati from the University of Baghdad – College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences and Assist. Prof. Dr. Karim Ghazal from the University of Kufa – Faculty of Agriculture – Department of Soil and Water Sciences. The symposium handled some aspects of developing the agricultural sector by addressing the most important modern methods used in developing agriculture under these difficult climatic conditions. The symposium was attended by a number of university and college professors and specialists in the field of interest.
